Former NBA stars Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White both declared themselves eligible for the 2027 WNBA Draft in August.
They have made it clear that the stunt is a protest related to the WNBA's rules regarding trans participation in the league.

If the 2027 WNBA Draft is cancelled, postponed past May 1, 2027, or the results can't be confirmed by then, this resolves 50-50 rather than No.
